SmartFilters

SmartFilters provide at‑a‑glance accounting information and report status information with SmartFilters for all reports saved in the Appraisal Desktop.

To get started with Accounting SmartFilters:

• See who has unpaid invoices and how late they are. Click the Unpaid folder to view a list of clients for which you haven't received payment.
• Review your received payments from clients. Click the Paid folder to view a summary of clients who have paid.
• Within the Unpaid and Paid folders, you can view all reports completed for a particular client within a specified time range. Click a dollar amount link to view the list of reports for that time frame.
• To review all unpaid or paid reports in a specified time frame, click the appropriate subfolder link within the Unpaid folder.
• You can filter out reports by client. Simply use the Client drop‑down menu at the top of the reports grid.
• To quickly preview a report's invoice, just click on any report to see it in the Info pane.
• You can even print out summary information or copy grid data into spreadsheets.
  • To print accounting summary data, click on the Paid or Unpaid accounting folders, then use the Print drop‑down menu to select the Summary option.
  • To copy grid data to a spreadsheet, click on the time frame subfolder to copy, and then click the Copy Grid Data (  ) toolbar option above the reports grid.

In order for a report to be displayed in Accounting SmartFilters, the Invoice Date and Fee Amount must be populated on the invoice. The Delivered Date or Bill Paid Datemust be entered in the Assignment PowerView either manually or through the Mark Reports as Paid tool. Due dates and invoice dates in the future are included in the All Unpaid filter.

To get started with Titan Drive SmartFilters:

• Click the Titan Drive parent folder to see an overview of what the Cloud status icons mean, or purchase storage.
• Review the reports currently protected by Titan Drive. Click the Protected Files SmartFilter to see a list of protected reports.
• To view a list of reports with newer versions stored on your local machine, click the Newer Local Files SmartFilter. These files are ready for upload to Titan Drive, which can be done directly from the Appraisal Desktop using the Send to Titan Drive toolbar option.
• To see a list of reports with versions stored in the Titan Drive Storage Area that are newer than the versions stored on your machine, click the Newer Cloud Files folder.
• To review a list of all reports currently unprotected, click the Unprotected Files SmartFilter. These files are at risk of being lost in the event of a computer meltdown or natural disaster.
