As an appraiser, UAD lets you view, error-check, and manage appraisals in the
new “UAD” MISMO 2.6 XML format. And it works with UAD-formatted appraisals
regardless of which software was originally used to create the report.
If you share it with your clients, they'll be able to open your UAD-compliant
MISMO 2.6 XML files in the familiar appraisal format, with field-by-field
guidelines and explanations of the new abbreviations. You won't have to
hand hold and you can both have the file if you need to discuss a particular
part of it. Just click Share in the upper-right corner of the
window.

There are a few things you can do with the appraisal you're viewing in UAD
Reader:
- Print the PDF that's embedded in the MISMO XML file.
- Click Save As to save the XML file to your PC. That's
really handy if you opened the file directly from an email and need to keep
a local copy.
- Click Export PDF to save a copy of the PDF in a
separate file. This can be useful if your client doesn't have a way to view
the PDF that's embedded in the MISMO XML. However, if that's the case, you
would probably help them more by sharing UAD Reader with them, so just click
the Share button, and enter their email address.
- Click PDF in New Window to open the ebmedded PDF in a
separate window using your default PDF viewer. If you need to check the PDF
for errors, this will come in handy because you can view the UARR Results and the PDF side-by-side.
- Click Send to Client to deliver the appraisal to anyone
using DataCourier. They'll have secure access to the PDF and the MISMO XML
file, as well as other features that they'll really appreciate. Read more about
DataCourier here.
