Adding a la mode SPF records to your domain host
An SPF record is a specially-formatted DNS TXT record that helps determine authorized senders to ensure legitimate emails come through to your inbox. It does this by checking for authorized outgoing servers and if they're on the approved list, it pushes the email to your inbox. A la mode's outgoing servers are as follows:
a:alamail.net/24
a:alamode.com/24
a:alamailout.com/24
If you're having trouble with receiving emails from your XSite lead capture forms or from a la mode in general, your domain may be missing these records. Continue with the instructions below to learn how to add these records to your domain host.
How to add SPF records to your domain host:
Log in to your domain host
Navigate to the page where you update DNS records. (If you're unsure of where to find this, contact your domain host for assistance.)
Copy the appropriate record and then paste it into the page or form for your domain host's TXT records. The exact SPF records vary between different email hosts but we've provided the records for the two most common: Microsoft Exchange and G Suite™ (formerly Google Apps).
