In Windows 7 there are three folders that you'll need to copy to or from when moving TOTAL. These locations vary slightly, depending on whether you are using a network or standalone installation of TOTAL.
To move your installation of TOTAL to a new computer, you'll first install TOTAL on the new machine. Once TOTAL is installed, move your data from the old installation to the new one based on the default locations below. You can use a network or removable media to move your data.

For standalone installations
My Reports
C:\Users\[username]\Documents\a la mode\Public Reports
C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\a la mode\User Settings (includes QuickLists, import templates, and more)
C:\ProgramData\alamode\WINTOTAL
For network installations

C:\Users\[username]\Documents\a la mode\Public Reports

If you're moving to a new, unused installation of TOTAL, you can simply copy/paste the entire a la mode folder listed above, overwriting the original folder created during installation.
If you're moving to an existing installation of TOTAL that already has reports in its folders, you will want to copy/paste the a la mode folder into a location outside of your existing reports, then make that folder an attached directory in TOTAL. Click here to find out how.
