Issue Description

Fields that have specific UAD rules are flagged as an error by TOTAL's real‑time validation and E&O check even though the dates are entered correctly in mm/dd/yyyy format.

Instructions

This issue is triggered when the date formats in Windows Region and Language settings are configured to use dashes instead of slashes. To correct this issue, simply change your Region and Language settings to the correct format:

  1. Close out of TOTAL completely.

  2. On your keyboard, press Windows Key + R.

  3. In the Open: field, type <samp>intl.cpl</samp> and press Enter, or click OK.

  4. In the Region and Language window that appears, change the short date to M/d/yyyy and click OK.

That's it! Once the short date had been changed to the correct format, just reopen your report and TOTAL no longer flags the date fields as errors.
