Format Sketch Labels

As necessary, you can adjust the font type, size, color, and other formatting of the labels you use in your sketch. To format a label:

  1. In a sketch, click the Modify icon (  ) to enter Modify Mode.
  2. Click to select a label that has already been placed on the sketch that you wish to format. Or, add a new label.
If you want to apply the formatting options to all of the labels currently in your sketch, click Edit, Select All Text from the menus, and then apply your formatting options. Keep in mind, though, that this also selects dimension labels, area names, and calculations. So, if you don't want to format those labels, you'll need to deselect them or turn them off via Preferences or by using Hotkeys.
  3. Now, use the formatting options in the toolbar to the upper right to set the font, size, color, and formatting of your label. This can also be done through the Properties panel on the right.

If the formatting toolbar is not available in the toolbar at the top of the screen, click View, hover over Toolbars, and select Formatting from the drop‑down menu to enable it.
