QuickLists are one of the most powerful and convenient ways to record your
field notes in TOTAL for Tablet PC. By using QuickLists, you can bypass typing
and writing altogether and just select your desired responses from the drop-down
QuickLists that appear as you move from field-to-field. To help you get started
with QuickLists, TOTAL for Tablet PC does provide a stock set of common
responses and abbreviations for the fields in your file, but it also lets you
customize and create your own QuickList entries to complement those provided by
default. Of course, if you've already created a set of QuickLists in WinTOTAL,
you can import those into TOTAL for Tablet
PC to help save time and maintain consistency with your current shorthand.
