Export to QuickBooks
If you use QuickBooks for your accounting, there is an easy way to get a report's invoice info from TOTAL to QuickBooks for billing. Keep in mind, exporting to QuickBooks requires QuickBooks Pro (or better) and won't work with QuickBooks' new "Online" product.
Open QuickBooks on your PC.
Then, from TOTAL's Appraisal Desktop, right‑click the file you want to export to QuickBooks and choose Export to QuickBooks. This option only appears if you have QuickBooks installed.
When the QuickBooks Application Certificate appears, choose Yes, always; allow access even if QuickBooks is not running, check the box to Allow this application to access personal data…, and click Continue.
Next, the Access Confirmation screen displays the name of the application and the access rights you allowed in the previous screen. Review the information and click Done to continue.
Now, choose your QuickBooks export details:
Match the billing contact in the report with the QuickBooks contact for billing purposes.
If you need to create a new QuickBooks contact for this report, click the Add Contact icon (
) to the right of the dropdown. Then, review or adjust the information for the new contact and click Add Contact.
Review or adjust the dates, invoice number, and additional deatils so that they're displayed as you want them to appear in QuickBooks.
In the Fees section, make sure the QuickBooks Item, TOTAL Job (Description), Rate, and Amount are displayed as you want them to appear in QuickBooks.
The Edit Report Info button on the lower left allows you to include report information that is populated into your QuickBooks invoice, click this button and check/uncheck the items you want to appear on the invoice for this and future reports. You can change this info any time you export to QuickBooks.
When you're finished with the export details, click OK to add the invoice to QuickBooks. Then, click OK on the confirmation message.
That's it! After you export the report to QuickBooks, TOTAL puts an icon next to the exported report in the File Manager. This helps you keep track of which reports have (or have not) been exported to QuickBooks.

) to the right of the dropdown. Then, review or adjust the information for the new contact and click Add Contact.
