Section-by-Section Guide
This part of the UAD 3.6 User’s Guide provides a detailed breakdown of every report section in the Report PowerView of a UAD 3.6 report. Each subsequent page focuses on one section, explaining:
What the section contains
How to complete each field
Common “How do I…” questions related to that section
Because UAD 3.6 introduces dynamic forms and new field behaviors, these pages help you navigate changes confidently and complete reports accurately. As you work with dynamic subsections in the report sections, keep the following in mind:
When you select any option at the top of Project Information, the report includes that section with dynamic subsections for the selected project type. When you leave all options unselected, the section is omitted. These options mirror the controls in Subject Property.
In sections that require you to note apparent defects, damage, or deficiencies (ADDD), select Show to enable entry fields or select Hide to disable the section. Selecting Hide records in the report data that no ADDDs are present.
Some on screen fields do not appear in the final output when left empty, per the UAD 3.6 specification:
Empty fields and photo slots are omitted.
Dwelling Exterior and Unit Interior include extra fields; leave them empty if they do not apply to your subject.
The Unit is an ADU field is always visible on screen but only appears in the PDF when it is relevant and required.
