PDFs are a great way to share information with your XSite visitors. Whether it's a sample appraisal report, presentation, or basic text document, adding a PDF to your XSite is simple and useful. Follow the instructions below to add a PDF to your XSite.

Create a link to a PDF on your XSite

  1. Log in to your XSite and click the XSite button in the top toolbar.

  2. Click File Library in the Extra Tools box on the left, and select Add New File.

  3. Click Browse, locate and select your PDF file, and click Open.
  4. Verify the filename in the list of Files to upload, and click Upload Files.

  5. Click My Content in the Content box on the left (Step 5 in the Wizard), and click on the name of the page from which you'll be linking to the PDF.

  6. Place your cursor in the text editor where you would like to link to the PDF and click the Document Manager button (  ) in the top toolbar.
  7. From the list displayed, click on the desired PDF. Then, adjust the Link Text on the right — this is the text a visitor clicks on to view your PDF.

You can also set the PDF document to display in the same window or in a new one using the Target drop‑down option. When you're finished customizing your PDF link, click Insert.

  8. Click Save & Close to save your changes and return to the My Content section of the Wizard.

That's it!  You now have a link to the PDF on your XSite. Repeat Steps 2 through 8 to add PDFs to additional pages, or click here to read more about uploading files to your XSite.
