To adjust the angle of a line in your sketch:
- In a sketch, click the Modify
button in the main toolbar.
- Click to select one of the lines forming the angle you wish to adjust.
- If you know the degree of the angle, enter it in the Base
Angle field in the Properties panel on the right.
You can also use the directional arrows on your keyboard to incrementally
adjust the angle the line forms with its adjacent line. Here are a few basic
tips for adjusting angles using the arrows on your keyboard:
- If you're modifying a horizontal line, use the left and right arrows to
extend or shrink the line. The up and down arrows will simply modify the
angle of the line.
- If you're modifying a vertical line, use the up and down arrows to
extend or shrink the line. The left and right arrows will simply modify the
angle of the line.
- For angled lines, all four directional arrows will directly impact the
length and angle of the line. Just use the arrows that will adjust your line
with the fewest incremental adjustments.
