Draw Free‑form Lines

Drawing free‑form lines is similar to drawing area lines. TOTAL Sketch is optimized for pen‑based input, making sketching a breeze. To draw area lines with a pen:

  1. In a sketch, click the down arrow beside the Draw button in the toolbar or select the Draw panel at the right side of the screen and select Free‑form Lines.
  2. Now, simply draw a line (or several lines) and wait for TOTAL Sketch to interpret it. Once the interpretation is done, a line appears in your sketch. Once set, there are several things you can do to adjust the line:
  3. Repeat this process for any additional walls.
  4. As necessary, click an end point to any line in your sketch (regardless of whether the area is open or closed) and drag it to adjust your line(s).
