Titan Drive

TOTAL allows you to configure your Titan Drive backup settings from inside the program. Make sure you've linked your TOTAL User with your a la mode account, and then follow the instructions below to adjust your Titan Drive settings:

  1. Click Tools in the menu on the upper left and select Configure Settings from the drop‑down menu.
  2. Select Titan Drive from the list of categories on the left.
  3. Next, choose the locations you want to automatically back up. To back up all files in all locations, click Check all. To select individual folders, place a check next to each folder you want to back up.

Since Titan Drive offers unlimited file storage, we strongly recommend adjusting your settings to watch all folders. This ensures nothing slips through the cracks, and you're never left in the lurch if you're away from the office and the report you need was accidentally saved in or moved to an unwatched folder.
  4. Check the box next to Notify me when something is unprotected if you want TOTAL to display a banner notification in the Appraisal Desktop when there are files in an unwatched folder that have not been backed up to Titan Drive.
  5. Adjust your filename options to choose whether or not you want to allow duplicate file names.
We recommend leaving this set to the default setting that prevents and corrects duplicate filenames to ensure all of your files are backed up. If you have a unique situation, you can adjust the settings to allow duplicate filenames. But, keep in mind that this could create a scenario where files with duplicate filenames may not be backed up and stored in Titan Drive.
  6. When you're finished, click Save & Close.
