Out of Office Notifications

If you plan to be unavailable for business at any time, you can enable your out of office notifications in your Appraiser XSites.  This ensures that customers who place orders through your site are informed about your absence and do not expect an immediate response.  To enable your out of office notification:

  1. In User Management, click a profile in the Site Users pane on the left.
  2. In the screen that appears scroll down to the Online Ordering Profile section and click Edit beside the Out of Office option.

  3. Select the date you're leaving and the date you're returning using the date selectors (  ).  Then, type a note for your client into the box provided.

  4. When finished, click Save to apply your out of office notification.

Your XSite then waits until your leaving date to activate the out of office notification.  When a client tries to place an order during your absence, they receive the message you typed into the out of office notification and are asked to select a due date that falls into a time when you are available again.
