Creating email aliases

With your CertMail email alias tool, you can create "pseudo" email accounts that people can use to contact you.  Effective email aliases can help you ensure that you still receive email sent to common misspellings of your name or a handful of other generic email addresses you want to use for your business.  To create email aliases for one of your CertMail accounts:

  1. From User Management, click to open the account in the Site Users pane for which you want create email aliases.
  2. In the Login & Email section, click the Add an Email Alias link and type a new alias into the box that appears.

  3. Click Add to add the new email alias.
  4. Repeat this process until you have all the email aliases you need (up to 10) and click Done when finished.
  5. Make any other changes you need to the open user profile, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save when finished.
