Vault Settings

To enable scheduling and configure the automatic backup settings for the Vault, click Tools in the menu on the upper left and select Configure Settings.  Then, select Vault from the list of categories on the left and follow the instructions below to adjust your settings:

  1. Check Enable scheduling.
  2. Next, choose whether or not you want to back up your preferences.  Preferences include your users, signatures, contacts, QuickLists, Recent Responses, and databases.
  3. Configure how often you want Vault to run the automatic backup by choosing between Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.  Then choose the time of day or monthly interval at which you'd like it to run.
  4. Then, select your watched folders.  To watch all folders click Check all.  To select individual folders, place a check next to each folder you want watched.
  5. When you're finished, click Save & Close.
