Adjust Sketch Elements

To adjust an element that appears in your sketch:

1. In a sketch, tap the Modify icon (  ) to enter Modify Mode. If you're using an iPhone or a similar device with a smaller screen, press the mode icon on your sketch keyboard and select Modify.
   

   

   
2. Tap an element on your sketch such as a line, symbol, or label to select it (indicated by a yellow border).

   

3. Once selected, the rotation, height, and width controls are displayed at the top of the screen:
   

   

   
   • Use the rotation arrows (  ) to snap the symbol to common angles (45°, 90°, 135°, etc.)
   • Use the height and width arrows (  ) to adjust the scale of the symbol incrementally
   • Tap and drag any of the green dots that appear around the perimeter of the symbol to resize it, or tap and drag the green dot at the top of the symbol to rotate it.

     

4. When you're finished adjusting the symbol, tap a different area on the sketch canvas to apply your changes.
