Data Entry Settings

To update your data entry options:

  1. Click Tools, and select Configure Settings from the drop‑down menu.
  2. Select Forms from the list of categories on the left and go to the Data Entry section.

  3. From the Forms section of TOTAL's configuration options, scroll to the Data Entry section.
  4. In the For UAD Reports section, TOTAL offers three options for filling out UAD forms:
  5. Next, When using SmartAdjust to automatically make date of sale adjustments, you have the options to Use the settled date or the Use the contract date.
  6. Next, when calculating the actual age for a comparable based on the year built, choose whether you want to Use the report effective date or Use the comparable sale date.
  7. For data entry into a form, options include:
  8. Next, indicate which set of QuickLists you wish to use as you fill out your reports. Options include:
  9. Indicate how you want TOTAL to use QuickLists in multiline comment fields. Options include:
  10. When you're finished adjusting your settings, click Apply or Save & Close to save your changes.
