Document 60310  |  Last updated:  07/15/2013 MJY

As with the last few releases, this makes TOTAL even more stable, faster, and more predictable. In addition, we're slowly but surely slipping in the comprehensive features which made WinTOTAL Aurora the most popular system in the industry. And even as we add more of the classic Aurora functionality to TOTAL, we're going to enhance it, taking features further than Aurora is capable of going. Again, the long term goal of TOTAL is to be far, far more advanced than Aurora ever could be.

Beyond that, we're working on completely new features too which never existed in Aurora — groundbreaking tools, many of which you've never seen or imagined before — and will start rolling those out to the public soon. TOTAL has a lot in store for the industry.

For now, here are the most noticeable improvements in this update (See the full release notes below):

  • You'll be able to merge reports directly from your attached Aurora folder without moving the file beforehand.
  • The automatic calculation for Year Built will use the effective date of the appraisal if available before falling back to the current year.
  • We corrected an issue that caused the Basement Finish % field to be lost in reports that were started in Aurora or TOTAL for Mobile.
  • You could use =L to copy listings, =R to copy rentals and =C to copy comparables into any comparison grid.
  • SmartAdjust will calculate Site field adjustments accurately in cases where subject data is listed as acres, but comps are listed as square feet.
  • We fixed a problem that occasionally caused an error when printing to PDF.

Thanks again for giving us your thoughts via the Feedback feature inside TOTAL. Several of these changes came directly from the Feedback option, which obviously is the whole point. We read them every day and we can track them much better than standard e‑mails. Please keep them coming and we'll keep making TOTAL better.

That's all for now, but expect another update very soon.
