Login & E-mail

The first step in creating a user is to specify their access information. Every user must have a unique Username so we've simplified the process of selecting a username by tying it to your e-mail address. When setting up a user, you have two choices: either use your own existing e-mail account from Yahoo, MSN or your own external system, or use one of your CertMail accounts. Since CertMail accounts share your domain name (baytownmortgage.biz), using these helps reinforce your website brand name.

  1. Enter your preferred e-mail address into the box provided. If you intend to create a new CertMail account, remember to mark the XSite's CertMail option first.
  2. Enter a password in the Password text box. For best results, use the password strength indicator to help you formulate a strong password to guard your account.
  3. Select a Security Question to protect your account and type the Answer to the question into the box provided.
  4. Type your Mobile Number in the field provided and choose your Mobile Provider from the drop-down list.
  5. In the Mobile PIN field, type a numeric code that you'd like to use when accessing your site from a mobile device. This is optional, but most users find it much easier to enter a number on a mobile phone or PDA than a text string.
  6. Select the Time Zone for this user from the drop-down menu.
  7. If you'd like specific messages to be sent to your mobile device (phone, PDA, etc.) Check the box to Turn on TXT notifications to your mobile device.  Any messages relayed through your website's mobile tools are now passed on to your mobile device via text message.
  8. Enter any relevant User Information and specify any necessary User Privileges. Then, click Save to create/update your account or move on to the User Information section to enter further information about your new user profile.

If you're creating a CertMail user, be sure to fill out the CertMail specific details as well.

  1. Enter the user's full name into the E-mail Friendly Name field. This is the name that appears in the Address field of messages sent from your CertMail account.
  2. As necessary, create any CertMail e-mail aliases you wish to use with this account.

Once your CertMail account has been created, a link is added to this section allowing you to log into your CertMail account.
