Signatureless Delivery

 
     

While SureDocs is optimized for collecting electronic signatures, you can also use it as a secure delivery tool if you simply need to maintain compliance with GLB. To securely deliver a document without signatures...

  1. In an open SureDoc without any e-signature tags, click Deliver in the top toolbar.
  2. In the window that appears, fill out the pertinent message information and address the options provided. Here's a quick breakdown of the options that appear. Just remember to leave the Include DirectFax option unchecked.
    • Description - If you completed the Description field in the Tracking Data section of your documents, the Description field is automatically copied for you. If you did not fill out that field, type a brief description of the "attached" documents for your client(s).
    • E-mail to – Enter the e-mail address for your client or other recipient. (Click the button to open your contact directory.)
    • CC – Enter any additional e-mail addresses.
    • Subject – Enter the text you’d like to appear on the subject line of your e-mail message. (Click the Subject button to use QuickLists.)
    • Comments/Special Instructions –If necessary, customize the comments/instructions you want to include with your e-mail in the Comments/Special Instructions box. Any customizations you enter will appear in the body of your e-mail.
    • Use browser-based viewer  - Checking this option, to provide your client with a printable copy of your documents and enable tracking for the documents so you know when your client accesses them.
    • Allow recipient to download PDF – Check this option to provide your client with a downloadable copy of your documents and enable tracking on when your client(s) download your documents.
    • Include document integrity/authenticity verification instructions addendum - Check this box to add an addendum to your documents that describes how your client(s) can verify their authenticity by going online and looking up the serial number assigned to your signature. This provide an extra level of security so your clients can verify that no one has tampered with the PDF after you delivered it.

  3. Click OK to send.
     
  Hint:  If you own a Mortgage XSite, you can also deliver your documents directly to your clients' login area on your site by attaching them directly to their loan files.
