If you regularly use forms or documents that are not recognized by our
automatic tag placement system, SureDocs provides a way for you to place the
tags once and save their placement locations as a template. To do so…
- In
an open SureDoc, place the needed signature tags and instructions for
your signers.
- If necessary, reorder any pages in your
SureDoc. SureDocs templates rely heavily on the order of the
documents you’re sending, so you would not want to use this template again in
the future on a series of documents that are ordered differently.
- Click Signatures, Save as Template from
the menus at the top of the screen.
- A window will appear prompting your for a file name for your
template. Type a name for your template in the box at the bottom of the
screen and click Save.
The next time your create another SureDoc with those documents, you can use
your template to place the signature tags instead of manually placing each
tag. To load your signature template…
- In
an open SureDoc, click Signatures, Load
Template from the menus at the top of the screen.
- In the screen that appears, choose the appropriate template file for your
document from the list of saved templates that appears. Then, click
Open to load your template.
SureDocs automatically loads the signature tags into the current document,
saving you time over manually placing your document tags.
