SureDocs automatic tag placement tools allow you to customize the location and the pre-written instructions of any of the tags it places. In other words, you can customize the tag placement template to your needs. To do so...
- In an open SureDoc, use SureDocs' document recognition to automatically place signature tags on your documents.
- Once placed, click and drag any tag to a new location to adjust it.
- As necessary, click any tag, check the Signature or Initials
Optional box at the bottom of the screen to make it optional or type
custom instructions into the Instructions or Comments box.
- When finished, click Signatures, Save Tag Customizations and then click OK to confirm your change.
Once saved, SureDocs will automatically place your customized tags in future copies of similar documents. If you ever need to revert back to SureDocs' defaults, click Signatures, Default Tag Customizations from the menus to restore them. Just indicate whether you want to restore defaults for the current set of documents in SureDocs or for every document it recognizes and click OK.

SureDocs provides a way for you to exchange your customizations with other computers by importing and exporting them.
Exporting Tag Customizations
To export your customizations to a file...
- In SureDocs, click Signatures, Export Tag Customizations from the menus.
- In the window that appears, browse out to your preferred save folder, type a name into the file name box, and click Save to save the customizations.
Importing Tag Customizations
To import a set of tag customizations into SureDocs...
- In SureDocs, click Signatures, Import Tag Customizations.
- In the window that appears, browse out to and select the tag customizations export file you created. Then, click Save to import the customizations.
