Ordering Credit Reports

 
     

Information already entered for a loan application is automatically transferred into the credit report order.  So, in just a few clicks you can find order and retrieve the credit report necessary for your loan application.  There are no extra fees for us to manage the process.

  1. While viewing details for a loan application, click the Vendors tab.


  2. Click New Order in the Credit section and then choose CBC Companies to place an order electronically.
  3. If prompted for a Username and Password, enter them here.
  4. Click Submit enter your order.


  5. Choose the type of report you wish to order using the drop-down menu and check boxes on the left. By default a Merge report including Equifax, Experion, and TransUnion information is selected.
  6. Indicate whether you're placing a new order or updating an existing credit report using the options listed in the Request Type section on the left.
  7. If you've specified that you're ordering an updated credit report, enter its reference number in the field provided.
  8. Indicate whether you want a Joint or Individual credit report and whether you want to copy the liabilities from the credit report into your 1003 automatically by marking the corresponding options on the left.
  9. Finally, fill out the Borrower and Co-Borrower information as necessary and click Submit when finished.

Your credit report is immediately completed and attached to your loan.  To access it, click the loan application in your list and then click the View link below Credit Report when the loan app's information loads at the bottom of the screen.  In addition, if you indicated that you wanted to copy the liabilities from the credit report directly into your 1003, that is immediately done for you so that you can simply export the 1003 into your LOS and continue processing it with that information complete.

If you wish to place an order for a credit report with an alternate favorite company you can do so using our DirectFax order form.

  1. While viewing details for a loan application, click the Vendors tab.
  2. Click New Order in the Credit section and then choose Direct Fax.
  3. Type as much information as possible into the fields provided and click Send E-mail.
  4. Add an e-mail address, subject and message body before clicking Send
  5. The recipient gets a PDF attached to an e-mail message with instructions on how to send back the completed order.  They simply print the PDF, fill out any additional information and fax it back when finished.

Once your credit report vendor has fulfilled your request, they must simply fax the order back to the number listed on your request using the request itself as a cover sheet.  The credit report is translated into a PDF using our DirectFax technology and is immediately attached to your loan application.
