While more and more mortgage professionals are turning to online 1003's and websites as the face of their businesses, on the back end, most mortgage professionals use a Loan Origination System, such as Ellie Mae's Genesis or Calyx's Point. Using the LOS Integration tools, you can share information from your online loan apps with your LOS, saving you from having to retype information for every application. - Mark the Fannie Mae DO/DU 3.2 option in the LOS
Integrations setup.
Note: If you're using Calyx Point or BytePro as your LOS system, both have specialized processes for importing/exporting loan apps and statuses. For Calyx Point, simply set up integration with Calyx via XSites Desktop. For BytePro, see our Tech Doc on setting up integration. For both, just leave the LOS Integrations option set to Fannie Mae DO/DU 3.2.
- Export your loan applications.
- Launch your LOS software and import the loan information.
The export feature saves loan information in a Fannie Mae DO/DU 3.2 format. Most LOS tools can import this file format directly. For specific steps on how to import your loan app into your LOS, see the Loading Apps into Your LOS section of this user's guide.
