Register for UCDP

Revised 10/25/2011 SSC

Before you submit appraisals to the UCDP, you'll need to complete the UCDP registration process with the GSEs.

These instructions are focused on the UCDP registration process, but there are more steps to complete after this. More resources are now available regarding next steps such as the Direct Integration User ID request, submitting to UCDP, and more.

In order to submit appraisals to the GSEs' Uniform Collateral Data Portal, you'll need to register with one or both of them. During this process, you'll receive authorization codes, invitation URLs, User IDs, and more. But don't sweat - we're here to help.

This is the first of three steps required to submit appraisal to UCDP from Mercury Network. You must complete the registration and log into UCDP before continuing to the next step.

The GSEs have provided comprehensive instructions for this process. But, as a Mercury Network user (or a client of someone who is) we want to make sure you have the specific information you need. With that in mind, these instructions are designed to guide you through the steps you'll need for your specific situation.

Below, select which GSE you'd like to register with and use the drop-down list to choose how you interact with the GSEs.

Before you do anything else, you must select a lender administrator for your organization. This individual will be responsible for registering with both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (if applicable) along with setting up the business units and individual users for your organization within the UCDP. If you sell to both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the same person must complete the registration for both GSEs, even though the registration processes are completely separate.

When you've chosen your lender admin, you're ready to start the registration process. It doesn't matter which GSE you register with first unless you only intend to sell to one of them.

If you have problems with any parts of the UCDP registration process, it's best to correspond directly with the GSEs, since we have no access to the "back end" of their systems. You can contact the UCDP Support Center at 1-800-917-9291.

As always, we want to provide the best possible support for you, so if you've hit a brick wall in part of the process, feel free to call Client Relations at 1-888-794-0455 and we'll do everything we can to help.
