Document 5012
Revised 4/18/2006 LD1
InterFlood is our web-based flood map service that saves you the hassles of looking up and scanning flood maps. They're high-quality, colorized, accurate, and affordable.
If you already own WinTOTAL you don't need to go to the InterFlood website to pull your maps.
You can save a ton of time by getting your flood maps

If you're using Aurora...
- Go to the Maps PowerView and click New Map in the toolbar at the top.
- Check the option to have WinTOTAL download a Flood Map as it retrieves data from the Internet, and follow through the wizard by clicking Next.
- The final step of the wizard generates a flood map, allowing you to annotate it if you wish. For more information about annotating maps, see the Enhancing Maps section of the WinTOTAL User Guide.
If you're using Athena...
- Go to the Maps PowerView and download a location map. Make sure the subject is in the right place we'll use that exact location for the flood map.
- Click the InterFlood Get Flood Map Now button located near the top of the window and stand by as a flood map for your subject is downloaded.
- A window will appear with a flood map. If multiple maps are available for your subject, you'll see a drop-down list indicating so. To view different maps available for your subject, choose them from the drop-down. Your account is not charged for viewing different maps for one subject.
- Once you've located the map you want, click Place in Report, and it will be appended into your current report.
- If needed, you can annotate your flood map with icons, text labels and lines just like location maps. Just click Edit while in the Maps PowerView.
