Posting to Your Blog |

Adding posts to your blog is as simple as typing in the familiar XSite Content Editor.
- From the XSites toolbar, click Blogging in the XSite drop-down menu.
- If the Create New Post screen is not displayed, click
New Post in the Blogging menu.
- Now, type a Subject for your new post. This text appears
on your Blog page separating each entry. The date and time of your post are
added automatically.
Hint: The subject and date items are listed on your Blog page using the same color scheme as your "Left" or "Secondary" navigation settings, depending upon the Theme you have chosen. To change these settings, refer to the Theme Preferences section of this guide.
- Click in the main Content Editor
section and complete your entry.
Hint: You can use all of the features of the Content Editor to spice up your entry. For example, click the Image Manager button to insert a photo or other graphic. Or, use the Custom Links drop down menu to insert a link to another page on your site. For more information on using the Content Editor, consult the Page Content Editor section of this guide. - When you're done, click either Save as Draft, which saves your work, but doesn't post it, or Submit Post, which places your entry on your live Blog page immediately.
Editing Your Drafts |

If you saved your work as a draft, you can go back and edit it at any time. In fact, you can save multiple drafts of several different topics.
- From the Blogging menu, click Drafts.
- Click the Edit icon
to the right of the draft which you wish to
modify.
- In the Content Editor, complete your
post and then click Submit Post. Or, click Save as
Draft to save over your previous draft of this post.
Note: If your draft is ready and needs no further editing, you can click the Post link in the Drafts list to send it to your Blog without opening it in the editor first.
- To delete a previous draft, click the Delete icon
for that item in the
Drafts list.
Updating Previous Posts |

At times, you may find that you've posted a comment to your Blog that you'd like to change. All of your entries are kept and can be modified at any time.
- From the Blogging menu, click Previous Posts.
- Click the Edit icon to the right of the post which you wish to modify.
- In the Content Editor, make your changes and
then click Submit Post. Or, click Save as Draft
to remove this post from your Blog and place it in the Drafts
section.
- Click the Delete icon for any previous post to delete it
completely from your site.
- Click the Comments link to edit the any of the comments your Blog readers may have left on your site.
- If the post you need to edit is not displayed, look in the Archive
section at the bottom of the screen for items you may have posted in
the past.
