Updating Order Status

 
     

The Mercury Network offers three different ways you can update the status of an order regardless of where you're located: at your desktop, from a mobile device, and through your XSite.

 

     
 

Updating Order Status on the Desktop

 
     

Updating the status of a Mercury Network order from your desktop involves a different process depending on whether you are using the Aurora version of WinTOTAL or another formfilling program.

 

WinTOTAL Aurora

To update the status of an order through the Aurora version of WinTOTAL...

  1. In the Files PowerView of the Appraisal Desktop, find and click to select the order you need to update.
  2. Click the Tracking Status button in the toolbar at the top of the files list.
  3. From the status list, choose the new status of your report. Then, click Send Now to update the status immediately or click Send Later to update the order status the next time that net.X Connect runs to synchronize WinTOTAL with your XSite and Mercury Network.

 

WinTOTAL Athena & Other Formfilling Programs

To acknowledge an order with the Athena version of WinTOTAL or a third-party formfilling program...

  1. Open XSite Order Manager and click Orders in the top toolbar.
  2. Find and click the order you wish to update with a new status.
  3. In the Order Status pane on the left, click Send Status.
  4. In the window that appears, choose the new status of your order and click Save to update the status and notify your client.

 

     
 

Updating Order Status on a Mobile Device

 
     

To update an order's status from a mobile device...

  1. Point your mobile device's Internet browser to <your web address>/mobile. For example, www.dockinsappraisals.com/mobile.
  2. Log into the mobile area with your XSite username and password.
  3. In the mobile office, click Orders.
  4. Click the New Orders link.
  5. Find the order you wish to update with a new status and click its link to open it.
  6. Click the Status link at the bottom of the order.
  7. From the drop-down Status menu, choose the new status for your order.
  8. If necessary, type a message you would like to send to your client into the provided box.
  9. Click Save to send your acknowledgement.

 

     
 

Updating Order Status from Your XSite

 
     

To update the status of a Mercury Network order from your XSite...

  1. Log into your XSite admin, hover your cursor over Business Management in the top toolbar and then click Orders in the toolbar that drops down.
  2. From your order manager, find and double-click the order you wish to update.
  3. When the order details appear, click Status in the top toolbar.
  4. You're offered a set of statuses to choose from.  Choose the appropriate status from the drop-down menu and fill out any date related information as necessary.
  5. If you need to include a message with the change in status, type it into (or select it from) the available field.
  6. Click Send Now when finished to update the status of the order and relay any necessary updates to the client.
