Set Up Collaboration |

If you actively work with other appraisers in remote offices to complete your appraisal reports, you must set up collaboration with those other appraiser's inside of XSOM to deliver their reports. Enabling XSOM’s collaboration feature is a two-step process.
- The 2nd party creates an authorization file in WinTOTAL and then gives it to you via disk or e-mail.
- Then, you "install" this file into your copy of WinTOTAL.

If you need to grant permission for another WinTOTAL user to deliver your reports through WinTOTAL’s XSite Network plugins…
- Anywhere in WinTOTAL, click the Options menu and select Allow
another XSite user to convert my reports... An e-mail message
opens pre-filled with instructions and a subject line of "XSOM Authorization
File attached” and an attached file named according to the customer number
with an extension of WAF. (ex: 8002526633.WAF)
- Enter the recipient's e-mail address and click Send.
- When the rebuild is complete, click OK in the acknowledgement that appears.
- Then, click OK in the Settings screen.
Installing Authorization Files |

To install an authorization file you’ve received so that you can deliver reports created by that appraiser…
- In XSOM, click Settings. Then, click
Collaboration.
- In the Collaboration screen, click Add.
- Browse out to the .WAF file you received from your associate, click to select it, and click Open to authorize your account to deliver files created by your associate.
- Finally, click Close in the Collaboration screen and click OK in the Settings screen to return to XSOM.
