Charge Limits

 
     

Per transaction charge limits restrict the amount you can charge a credit card within a given amount of time (usually 24 hours). By default, your merchant account applies a $2000 per transaction charge limit, but if you regularly charge any of your clients more than $2000 at a time, you can request an increase in this limit. To request a per transaction charge limit increase...

  1. From your credit card processing tools, click Options in the Billing pane on the left. 
  2. Using the fields provided fill out the charge limit you want to apply to your account and specify a reason for the increase.
  3. Then, click Send to submit the request.

If you're using one of Kirkpatrick Bank's merchant accounts, they will review your request and reply to you by e-mail within two business days. If you're using a different merchant account provider, the processing time varies.
