If you use WinTOTAL as your formfilling software, you can shorten the
formfilling process by merging the order details you export from XSOM with your
preferred template or an old report containing information that applies to this
appraisal order as well. To do so...
- Export the order following the steps above.
- The Requester opens to the Description screen with the
report description pre-filled with information from your order. If necessary,
change it to something more useful.
- If you prefer to clone an old report or template so that you don’t have to
retype boilerplate information or the same data from an old report, click the
Filing shortcut on the left. You’re presented with a list of
detailed report info fields and a list of files in your File Cabinet. Click
the file you want to clone and use one of the cloning options presented.
Options are:
- No Template – Indicates that you do not want to clone
any file.
- Clone the Report Below, Including Its Data – Clones the
report you selected including all forms and data. In this case, the
data from your order blends with the data from the report you selected and
no data is overwritten.
- Clone the Report Below, without Any Data – Clones the
report you selected including forms only. This option pulls the same
list of blank forms from the report you selected and merges those forms with
the data from your order.
- After choosing the file to clone, it’s important you go to another tab
since that’s what triggers the cloning. Go to another tab, such as
the Assignment tab and fill out any other information about
the report.
- Now, just click Open to start editing the report.
That’s all there is to it. Just work up the appraisal report as you
normally would, send status updates as needed, and deliver the report back to
your client using the appropriate XSite Order Manager plugin.
