Adding a Credit Card to Your Account |

Beginning January 4, 2010, a $13.75 fee will be charged for each order accepted via the Mercury Network. As the appraiser, you will be responsible for this fee if your client is paying more than the median fee, or your published fee for the product they order from you. If you accept an order with a fee that is lower than the median fee and your published fee for the ordered product, the lender or AMC will be responsible for the fee. Mercury Network transaction fees for orders that were accepted during any given day will be charged to the credit card on your account each evening, and will appear on a single invoice for that day.

Note: If the Mercury Network transaction fee is applicable, a credit card must be on your account in order to accept Mercury Network appraisal orders. | ||
To manage the credit card information on your account:
- Log into www.alamode.com/myaccount with your a la mode username and password, then click Mercury Network on the left.
- Select New Card, enter the credit card information, then click Save.
In order to remove a credit card from your account:
- Log into www.alamode.com/myaccount and click Mercury Network on the left.
- Click the Remove link next to the credit card on the account. The card information will be immediately removed.
