Your contact manager provides an easy way to filter the contacts you see so
that you can find and manage a limited list of contacts that meet your criteria.
There are two primary filtered views you can apply to your contacts: contacts
(individuals) view and companies view. To apply one of these filters...
- From the contact manager, click
Contacts or Companies in the Contact
View panel to the left of your contacts list.
- Once you've chosen this primary view, you can then use the
View drop-down menu to filter your contact list even further.
Choose one of the following options to apply a secondary filter.
- Contacts for all users - Choose this option to see all
of the contacts associated with this site which have been marked as Public.
- Contacts for this user only - This option displays only
those contacts which the current user entered into the Contacts database,
regardless of whether it's a public contact or not.
- Deleted Contacts - Use this view option to see any
contacts which you may have deleted from your site. To permanently remove a
contact from the database, select it in this view, then click the
Delete button on the toolbar. Confirm your deletion and the
contact is removed permanently
- Duplicate Contacts - If you have the individual
Contacts mode chosen, use this option to display any contacts that may be
duplicates.
- Ad Hoc Contacts - Ad Hoc contacts are those contacts
you deal with on a periodic basis. In order for a contact to be an "ad hoc"
contact, you must mark the ad hoc option in the contact's details.
