Sending Status

 
     

Even though your client may not require status notifications, proactive status messages are a great approach customer service and can solidify your client’s belief that you’re the best appraiser for the job.  To send a status message to your clients…

  1. From the XSite Order Manager Orders view, locate the order for which you wish to send status, and click it once. 
  2. Click the Send Status link in the lower left corner of the screen.

In the screen that appears, choose the status type from the drop-down, and type any additional notes.  Alternatively, you can use a message template to add a pre-built message into your status update.  This makes status updates even easier as you can save typing time when updating your clients.

  4. Finally, click Save

XSite Order Manager immediately updates your local database.  When you’re ready to post the status update online account so that your clients are aware of the status change, click Synchronize in the main toolbar. XSite Order Manager then connects to the Internet, updates your online account so that your clients can view the status update online, and sends the status update message out to your clients in an e-mail. In addition to the e-mail update, your status messages are instantly visible from your XSites Network account and XSite, making it easy for your clients to find out the status history of their orders by logging into their accounts and reviewing their open orders.
