By default, your XSite merchant account accepts only Master Card and Visa. In order to accept American Express you must fill out a separate apply for a separate account to process charges directly through American Express. To apply for an American Express account..
- Download the application by visiting the American Express website and click the Apply Online Now link.
- Once American Express issues a merchant account number, click the
Options link in the Billing pane to the left
of the credit card processing area in
your XSite.
Once Kirkpatrick Bank has enabled your account to process American Express cards, you're immediately notified.
