When you install Pocket TOTAL, you’re automatically prompted to register Pocket TOTAL and MobileSketch (if you own a copy of Apex's MobileSketch). However, by their very nature, Pocket PCs are mobile and flexible devices so there may come a time when you need to unregister your Pocket licenses to reregister them on a new Pocket PC or just reregister in the event that registration fails. To open WinTOTAL’s Pocket TOTAL configuration options…
- Ensure that your computer is connected to the Internet, and then attach your Pocket PC.
- From the Pocket section of WinTOTAL Configuration Utility, click
Register Pocket TOTAL in the
Pocket pane on the left side of the screen.
To register Pocket TOTAL and MobileSketch…
- Click Register. Then, click Next in the registration screen.
- Enter your first name, last name, and a description name for your Pocket PC. Then, click Next to continue.
- Once the registration is complete, click Finish.
To unregister Pocket TOTAL and MobileSketch…
- Click the UnRegister button and mark the option to use Internet unregistration and click OK.
- The application contacts the a la mode servers over the Internet and releases your current Pocket TOTAL license, freeing it up to be reassigned to your new system. Just click Done when it’s finished.
