Import Images

If you want to insert an image into your sketch you can easily do so through DaVinci's image import tools. To import an image into your sketch...

In a sketch, click File, Import Image from the menus or click the Import Image button in the toolbar at the top.
In the screen that appears, browse out to and select the image you wish to import. Then, choose Open.
Once the image appears in the sketch, it's attached to your cursor. Move your cursor to the place you want to drop the sketch and click to drop it.
From there, you can adjust or remove the image as necessary.
- To rotate the image, click and drag the green circle above the image.
- To delete the image, select it and choose the Delete button in the sketch toolbar.
- To move the image, select it and then drag it to the desired location.
- To resize the image, select any one of the black circles - called "handles" - surrounding the image and drag the "handle" to shrink or enlarge the symbol. If you need to keep the proportions in sync, be sure to right-click the image and select Constrain Proportions before resizing it.
