If you want to insert an image into your sketch you can easily do so through
DaVinci's image import tools. To import an image into your sketch...
- In a sketch, click File,
Import Image from the menus or click the Import
Image button in the toolbar at the top.
- In the screen that appears, browse out to and select the image you wish to
import. Then, choose Open.
- Once the image appears in the sketch, it's attached to your cursor. Move
your cursor to the place you want to drop the sketch and click to drop it.
- From there, you can adjust or remove the image as necessary.
- To rotate the image, click and drag the green circle above the
image.
- To delete the image, select it and choose the Delete
button in the sketch toolbar.
- To move the image, select it and then drag it to the desired location.
- To resize the image, select any one of the black circles - called
"handles" - surrounding the image and drag the "handle" to shrink or enlarge
the symbol. If you need to keep the proportions in sync, be sure to
right-click the image and select Constrain Proportions
before resizing it.
