DaVinci provides a set of the most common icons you need to annotate your
sketch. To place an icon on your sketch...
- In a sketch, click the
Symbols drop-down menu in the main toolbar.
- From the menu that appears, navigate to the desired symbol and click to
select it.

Note: The Standard versions of
DaVinci are limited to only the most common symbols in the library. For
the full symbol library, you must own either DaVinci Mobile Pro or
DaVinci Desktop Pro. |

- Once the symbol appears in the sketch, it's attached to your cursor. Move
your cursor to the place you want to drop it and click to drop it.
- From there, you can adjust or remove the symbol as necessary.
- To rotate the symbol, click and drag the green circle above the
image.
- To delete the symbol, select it and choose the Delete
button in the sketch toolbar.
- To move the symbol, select it and then drag it to the desired location.
- To resize the symbol, select any one of the black circles - called
"handles" - surrounding the image and drag the "handle" to shrink or enlarge
the symbol. If you need to keep the proportions in sync, be sure to
right-click the symbol and select Constrain Proportions
before resizing it.

Hint: If you need to place several
copies of the same symbol throughout your sketch, first enable Stamp Mode and then select and place the symbol.
Since Stamp Mode doesn't require you to reselect the same symbol, you can
keep clicking to place additional copies of your selected symbol. |
