Viewing Your XSite |
||
To view your XSite at any time, type your domain name into the address bar of your browser and press Enter.
If you are currently logged into your XSite Admin, you can hover over XSite on the top menu, then click My XSite on the bar below. This will display the "front end" or public portion of your XSite in your default browser, which is exactly what your visitors will see when they go to your website.

Your XSite can be viewed in almost any browser, but may appear differently depending on the browser's technology.
Often there are slight variations in the way a browser displays or "renders" any web page. Since your XSite uses Adobe Flash to enhance the user experience of your site, the Flash plug-in is required to view the content of your site. This plug in is very common, and most PCs will already have it installed. If they do not, the visitor will simply be prompted to install the plug in, and this process is largely automated.
Mobile Devices
While your XSite has specific management tools for use on mobile devices, there are some things to know about how the "front end" of your XSite will appear on a mobile device.
Some mobile devices do not support the installation of the Adobe Flash plug in. In these cases, the browser will display a message indicating that "you're not seeing everything we have to offer." We constantly work to increase compatibility for our products, so visit our Labs site to learn about our current projects.
iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad
When an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad user visits your XSite, they'll see a version of your XSite specifically designed for these devices. While it won't contain all of the content normally seen in a browser on a PC, visitors will have the opportunity to view your listings pages, listings details (including images), and contact information. There's even a button that allows iPhone users to call you directly using the phone number you've entered in Company Info in your XSite's Wizard. The colors used are matched to those selected in the Theme Prefs step of the Wizard.
